Appraisal Fees

Hourly rate for inspection, research, and consultation is $250.

Transportation fee is $100 per hour when working outside of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Travel-related expenses (airline tickets, taxi service, shuttles, car rental, trains, and lodging) are to be reimbursed. Outside expert consultation fees, scientific tests, and color photocopies are to be reimbursed.

Minimum fee for the production of a document is $750 (equivalent to three hours at $250 per hour). "Rush assignments" incur an additional fee of 50% of the total.

A payment of 50% of the anticipated fee is due upon completion of an standard appraisal inspection. The balance of the fee is due upon completion of the report.

Consultation Fees to include expert testimony

Expert witness work requires an initial retainer, to be determined once the assignment has been outlined.

All services provided will be billed at a rate of $250 per hour. These services include initial meetings, appraisal review, depositions, standby time, interrogatory development, deposition review, pre-testimony consultations, testimony, cross examination, and subsequent consultations via telephone, e-mail or in person.

An advance payment of $750 (equivalent to 3 hours) is required for depositions.

If you wish to submit my name (Corinne Cain, ASA) as an expert witness, you must first contact me and sign an engagement agreement. The fee to accompany this agreement (one that is in keeping with my normal fee structure) will be established at that time.
